There's often a misconception that bringing a hunting dog into the family and loving and caring for it will some way spoil it's ability to hunt. Nothing can be further from the truth than this in regards to the Shorthair breed. GSPs are extremely social dogs. My dogs are with me at my side all day long. They follow me from room to room during the day as I do my chores and are happiest when they're laying at my feet or snuggling next to me. They are not 'clingy or needy' they are simply glad to be with me and I wouldn't have it any other way.
Do I sell to breeders? I do sell some of my puppies with full registration. If you're interested in keeping a puppy of mine in tact this needs to be discussed up front with me. I have a separate contract that I sign with my puppy buyers who are looking to breed in the future. This contract isn't designed to control or inhibit you but it is designed to insure the health of the German Shorthair Pointer breed and the future of my name. I am here to mentor and support. I truly love each animal I produce very much. I take a great deal of time thinking of each litter I produce or any litter produced by one of my stud dogs.
