Pup Training 201 - ideal for young pups from 4-18 months old
Pup Training 201 is for pups or young dogs that have achieved the gun readiness of Pup Training 101 but are not steady to the flush.
I use a very gentle, very hands on training method. For Pup 201 I teach (or reinforce) to come, sit, stay and heel. I reinforce [or train] crate training and stake out patience. [vital to a good hunting dog].
After this is complete I will teach your dog whoa and then introduce it to birds. By the time your dog has mastered this level of training it will be steady to the flush and retrieving [with few exceptions] to the hand and ready to take hunting.
6-8 weeks generally needed. Pups must be at least 4 months old and have already been introduced to the gun and crate trained.
cost: $600 a month for non Awesome puppy owners. $300 for Awesome puppy owners. Awesome puppies owners must have purchased a puppy from me and have this pup registered with Awesome in its name.
