Alpha
at 11 months. (to note Alpha was bred by
Wayne and Norma Touve)
Alpha has started a very impressive campaign. He has been trained and handled by his owner Jonathan Paddock. Alpha's first venture into the AKC show ring as a puppy in the 9 - 12 month class produced 2 first place ribbons and one Reserve Winner's Dog against some very competitive show dogs. Alpha's next visit to the show ring brought home an International Confirmation Title. In Alpha's written Judges critiques the German judge's over all impression of Alpha was and I quote "Powerful." Powerful he is, at 25 inches tall and 72 pounds Alpha is marbled with muscle. The German judge went on to write that Alpha has a well developing chest (he was after all only 11 months old) magnificent movement, good scissor bite, good front and rear angulation and a powerful topline. Alpha's next campaign was off to the Hunt Test arena. Jonathan took Alpha first to Kansas where he was top Junior dog both days and finished Alpha's Junior Hunt Title in their home state of Colorado the following week end. 3 out of 4 Tests Alpha was the top scoring Junior.
Jonathan now plans to train Alpha for his Seniors. When Alpha is two he will be OFAed and eventually be advertised as a stud. As Alpha's Grandma I am very proud of both Alpha and Jonathan.
